'Blinding Lights’ by The Weeknd was the most played song on Dutch radio stations in February. The track was heard no less than 914 times on various public and commercial channels. The hit by the Canadian artist is followed by Lewis Capaldi's 'Before you Go' with 604 plays. 'Die Young’ by Sheppard was played 568 times and completes the top 3.

This is shown by data from SoundAware, the company that registers for the music industry which music is played on Dutch TV and radio stations. 'Blinding Lights' continues to be popular with radio DJs and listeners at home. The track has also been on the top spot in various Dutch charts almost continuously for weeks. Last month, the Canadian singer's world hit was also the most played of all.

The Top 20 also contains seven hit singles by, partly, Dutch artists. 'Love Don't Hate It' by the provisional last winner of the Eurovision Song Contest Duncan Laurence in fourth position is the biggest hit by a Dutch artist. Record company Universal Music is the main supplier with eight tracks, followed by Sony Music with six and Warner Music with three scores. The other hits are from 8ball Music, Roq 'n Rolla Music / Cloud 9 and Spinnin' Records.
